 Prompt:
My approach to creativity is to try and write down the first thing that comes to mind and then map it out. When I'm working on a project, I try to get some basic materials and make a rough model of what I want to make. This helps me plan what it will look like. A project that I am most proud of is a model brain I made.

I thought that some of the questions were not well written.

 Prompt: My mother has been the strictest when it comes to discipline. Her approach to discipline is more based on how she is feeling at the time. This approach means that if I am nice to her she is nice to me. It has taught me to treat other people the way you want to be treated. Summary: The Rockpile is about a boy who is disobedient and ends up injuring himself. Reflection: This makes me think about how my parents disciplined me.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

 Prompt: A time I felt connected to nature was this summer when I went on vacation to Grand Teton National Park. This was the first time that I had seen huge animals up close as bison lined the sides of the road and moose drank at many of the lakes. The top of Grand Teton itself seemed to never draw any closer, no matter how far we hiked. The largeness of everything in the park made me feel how insignificant a human is compared to the vastness of nature, but it also made me feel how important it is to protect it. Summary: Today we took notes about Native American literature and different types of stories. Reflection: I learned what the components of an origin myth are.
