 Prompt:
A song that I would chose to represent my life right now is "9-5" by Dolly Parton. I chose this song because it is about the monotony of working everyday and not feeling like you are getting anywhere. This song represents my current school life because every day there is more work and it doesn't really end. From when I wake up to when I go to sleep I am doing something and that gets a little stressful.

Summary:
Today in class we took a test on Emily Dickinson Poetry.

Reflection:
We didn't really do much productive today.

 Prompt: My mother has been the strictest when it comes to discipline. Her approach to discipline is more based on how she is feeling at the time. Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

 Prompt: A time I felt connected to nature was this summer when I went on vacation to Grand Teton National Park. This was the first time that I had seen huge animals up close as bison lined the sides of the road and moose drank at many of the lakes. The top of Grand Teton itself seemed to never draw any closer, no matter how far we hiked. The largeness of everything in the park made me feel how insignificant a human is compared to the vastness of nature, but it also made me feel how important it is to protect it. Summary: Today we took notes about Native American literature and different types of stories. Reflection: I learned what the components of an origin myth are.
