Of today’s 15 vocabulary words, which three do you think you will use the most in your speaking and writing this semester? Explain why each word feels useful or powerful to you.

 Prompt:
The three words from the vocab list that I am most likely to use are: aesthetic, affinity, and affluence. Aesthetic is a word that I might use because I am already familiar with it and, depending on the topic, it may be used in our informational writing. I might use affinity because it stood out to me and I could use it to describe someone being good at something. Affluence might be useful to me in a different class as we are talking we are learning about slavery and the slave owners could be described as affluent.

Summary:
Today in class we learned the steps to writing an informational essay.

Reflection:
I think I will use the bubble chart for my essays.
