 Prompt:
If I were to compose a poem about my life, it would about just pushing through. A lot of the goals I have in life and some of the problems that I have had can be achieved by setting aside the time everyday to show up and make sure that I get it done. This would likely fall into the topic of life or personal growth as it would be about my goals in life. The overall message would be to not give up and to follow your goals.

Summary:
Today in class we worked on our connections between songs and Emily Dickinson poetry and analysed some of her quotes.

Reflection:
The quotes that we looked at today had a lot of meaning and they talked about all parts of life.

 Prompt: A time I felt connected to nature was this summer when I went on vacation to Grand Teton National Park. This was the first time that I had seen huge animals up close as bison lined the sides of the road and moose drank at many of the lakes. The top of Grand Teton itself seemed to never draw any closer, no matter how far we hiked. The largeness of everything in the park made me feel how insignificant a human is compared to the vastness of nature, but it also made me feel how important it is to protect it. Summary: Today we took notes about Native American literature and different types of stories. Reflection: I learned what the components of an origin myth are.
